Presented by CAMA (Community Arts Music Association) as part of the CAMA 2026/2027 International Series — 108th Concert Season, "Virtuosi." The Minnesota Orchestra, founded in 1903 as the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, is known for touring, its commitment to new music, and a celebrated recording legacy including GRAMMY-winning recordings.
Danish conductor Thomas Søndergård, the Orchestra's 11th music director, leads the ensemble, joined by violin virtuoso Augustin Hadelich, Musical America's 2018 "Instrumentalist of the Year," performing on the 1744 Guarneri del Gesù "Leduc, ex Szeryng." Program: Thomas Adès — Inferno Suite (from Dante) Sergei Prokofiev — Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Op. 19 Benjamin Britten — Passacaglia (from Peter Grimes), Op. 33b Claude Debussy — La mer (Three Symphonic Sketches), L. 109 The Granada Theatre is the venue for this rental event; programming and promotion are managed by the presenting organization, CAMA. Ticket prices include a $7 Granada Facility Fee, with an additional $3 web service fee applied at seat selection.
