Los Angeles Philharmonic at The Granada Theatre

Presented by CAMA (Community Arts Music Association) CAMA 2026/2027 International Series — 108th Concert Season, "Virtuosi" Los Angeles Philharmonic Paavo Järvi, conductor Vilde Frang, violin CAMA welcomes the Los Angeles Philharmonic back to Santa Barbara.

Founded in 1919, the LA Phil has become synonymous with boldness, color, and the thrill of the new—building a reputation for performances that feel like events: highly polished, sharply characterized, and alive to the present moment. On the podium is Estonian conductor Paavo Järvi, a GRAMMY Award-winning artist widely recognized as one of today's most eminent conductors.

Enjoying close partnerships with some of the world's finest orchestras, he currently serves as Music Director of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, and his work is defined by clarity, drive, and an onstage electricity audiences feel instantly. Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang brings the rare combination of refinement and edge—an artist whose sound can turn silken in a heartbeat, then flash with bite and brilliance.

She has been celebrated internationally for performances and recordings marked by depth, imagination, and fearless precision, and she performs on the 1734 "Rode" Guarnerius, generously loaned by a European benefactor. This International Series season finale places three virtuoso identities in the same room: an orchestra that defines Los Angeles artistry, a conductor with kinetic command, and a violinist whose presence can hold a hall in complete attention.

Programming and promotion are managed by the presenting organization. Ticket prices include a $7 Granada Facility Fee. An additional Granada web service fee of $3 per ticket will be applied at seat selection.
