Contreras Flamenco Arts

At Contreras Flamenco Arts Studio, we are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential as dancers. CFA is more than just a place to take classes, it's a community of dancers who share a passion for Flamenco. We host performances throughout the year, offer students to work with world renowned dancers and musicians, and offer the opportunity for our students to participate in Old Spanish Days Fiesta. We aim to encourage our students to push themselves to find their unique style and self-expression through Flamenco. Owner/Director Jesalyn Contreras McCollum began her Flamenco journey at age 3 in Santa Barbara, trained by Linda Vega, Maria Bermudez, and Manuel Gutierrez. A Flamenco artist for 22 years and teacher for 8 years, she has participated in Old Spanish Days Fiesta for 18 years, serving as 2012 Junior Spirit and 2018 Spirit of Fiesta. She has studied in Spain with renowned artists and pursued a degree in Flamenco at the University of New Mexico, performing professionally across the country, including at Jacob's Pillow in 2023.
