The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is America's #1 street race, featuring IndyCar and other supporting race series along with concerts, a Lifestyle Expo, a Family Fun Zone, and other entertainment throughout race weekend. It began as a Formula 5000 race in 1975 and switched to Formula One in 1976, running as an F1 race through 1983.
