Two Great Nonprofit Events on Saturday, Sept. 6
Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley will both be buzzing on Saturday, Sept. 6, with two incredible nonprofit events that bring people together for fun and community while supporting important local causes.
She.is.beautiful 5K & 10K – Santa Barbara
At 8:30am, Cabrillo Boulevard will be filled with runners and walkers taking part in the She.is.beautiful 5K and 10K. Known for its pink flair, positive energy, and oceanfront course, the race celebrates strength, joy, and empowerment while raising funds for Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara. With kids’ races, a dog run, yoga, face painting, and a festive atmosphere, it’s one of the most uplifting mornings of the year on the Santa Barbara waterfront.
Cars & Cowboys – Santa Ynez Valley
Later that day, just up Highway 154, Rancho San Marcos Golf Course hosts the 4th Annual Cars & Cowboys event. Against the backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains, this unique celebration of horsepower and heritage features rare and classic cars, local food, wine, and craft beer. More than just a car show, Cars & Cowboys supports Meals on Wheels, with 100% of proceeds going to provide meals for seniors, veterans, and those in need across the Santa Ynez Valley.
Two events, one day, one great community. Whether you start your morning with a run by the ocean or spend your afternoon admiring rare cars in the mountains, September 6th is the perfect day to give back while experiencing the very best of our region.
