52nd Summer Solstice Celebration
The 51st Summer Solstice Celebration will take place June 19th - 21st in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. The Celebration will kick off at Alameda Park on Friday, June 19, at 4 PM, with the FESTIVAL KICK OFF PARTY from 4-9 PM. Enjoy music from local bands, food, beverages, dancing, vendors and the spirit of celebrating the longest day of the year.
The 52nd annual Summer Solstice, themed Wild World, is an extraordinary celebration of the arts, community, and the year's longest day. Proudly sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara, the festival runs from June 19 to 21 and offers an array of musical performances, diverse food, and merchant vendors. Immerse yourself in Santa Barbara's creative spirit, enjoy the diverse musical acts, and celebrate the solstice in style.
The festival is free and open to the public. It features a full musical lineup and various food and merchant vendors on all three days. A beer and wine garden will be open to those 21 and over, with IDs checked at the entrance and strict security enforced.As in past years, attendees can enjoy a stellar musical lineup featuring various genres, from folk and reggae to pop, soul, rock, metal, and progressive electronica. This year, there will be performances on three stages, the Alameda Main Stage and the Santa Barbara Bowl CommUnity Stage in the FUNtopia and the DJ Stage. Sunday is KJEE's Solstice Sunday ROOTS Reggae on the Main Stage!The Solstice Parade on June 21 travels from Santa Barbara Street to Ortega Street to Sola Street and ends at Alameda Park at the Solstice Festival. Floats will be displayed on Sola Street until 3 p.m. The festivities continue until 8 p.m.
Chairs and blankets can go out along the parade route after 6:00 pm on Friday, June 20, but no earlier. Keep all chairs and blankets on the sidewalks, not in the street.The FUNTopia Zone and an expanded Kids Zone—open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. in Alameda East—featuring interactive activities for the whole family.

The Parade will feature lots of new performance artists and a myriad of creative interpretations of the theme. Opening Night is Friday 4-9 PM in Alameda Park, for the weekend's kick off party! Don't miss performances by The Last Decade, The New Vibe and False Puppet.
Saturday, we celebrate all day in the park from 12 PM until 8 PM. Three stages will be backed with entertainment. On the main stage, we will have a stacked lineup of our local favorites; Area 51, Will Stephens, The Kicks, Spencer the Gardener and Flannel 101. On the DJ stage don't miss performances by Bix King, Katnip and Calvin & Hogg.
The Festival continues with the FUNTopia Zone and expanded Kids Zone - Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6 PM in Alameda East with interactive activities for the whole family. The SB Bowl Community Stage will again feature performances for and by young artists, ethnic music and dance, and family friendly entertainment.
Reggae Sunday sponsored by The Pharmacy and in partnership with 92.9 KJEE features reggae bands from 1 to 7 PM in the Park.
The Festival is free and open to the public and will include a full musical lineup on both days as well as a variety of food and merchant vendors. A beer and wine garden will be open all 3 days to those 21 & over only. IDs will be checked at the entrance. Strict security will be enforced.
Parade Route & Map
The 52nd annual Solstice Parade 2026 will begin at Noon on June 20th at the intersection of Ortega and Santa Barbara Streets. The parade will travel on Santa Barbara Street and end at the Solstice Festival at Alameda park. (Sola Street).
We are excited about the opportunities that Santa Barbara Street has opened up for us. Parade spectators will enjoy a different view of Santa Barbara, with the beautiful mountains in the background. Along this route we have the Santa Barbara Courthouse, the SB Historical Museum and the Presidio, all steeped in the history of our community. We can't imagine a better place to renew our spirit, come together as a community and to explore our WILD WORLD. (This year's theme).
